Christina Aguilera has played many live shows in her career. But the first live show of NBC's The Voice, the celebrity coach who sang Queen songs with her fellow coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green praised her team of contestants for their poise and determination.First talk about who went home based on last week’s viewer votes from Team Christina Aguilera and Team Blake Shelton. America chose to save Beverly McClellan from Team Christina Aguilera while coach Christina decided to use her own save on Frenchie Davis, sending home Raquel Castro and Lily Elise.

On Team Blake Shelton, America loved Dia Frampton and coach Blake decided to keep Xenia, sending home Jared Blake and Patrick Thomas. On to the competition! first up for Team Cee Lo Green was sisters Tori and Taylor Thompson. The cute country gals went with Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. They totally dressed the part and sang like the two sugary gals we’ve come to know and love. The judges were lighter on the vocal critique and heavier on their costume choice of bugle wear. Leave it to Blake Shelton to say to Cee Lo: “Were the outfits your idea? You’re sick and I’m loving every minute of it!”

Team Adam Levine began with Casey Weston tackling Black Horse and a Cherry Tree. The energy was fantastic! She jammed on her guitar like a pro and papa Adam Levine was ecstatic over her ability to kill the song even with her original fear. We’ve been waiting to see Vicci Martinez since she was chosen during the battle rounds. She went with Joline, which everyone knows the Dolly Parton version. Did she stomp the stage with her war-dancing and hot vocals this week? Oh, yes she did! She is pure music on a stick this one! It’s like the music comes from her feet! Coach Cee Lo said she “worked that stage like a professional.”

Devon Barley from Team Adam was absolutely haunting during his rendition of One Republic’s Stop and Stare. Christina Aguilera said, “I’m really into you, Devon.” As for the vocals, everyone was in agreement that his vocal presence and confidence were the way to go instead of a pyrotechnic heavy performance.Team Cee Lo Green gave the competitors a break with a collaborative performance of Everyday People. Cee Lo Green totally wore an insane wig and dressed his team up in fabulous decade outfits! This man is awesome! The competition continued with Team Cee Lo Green and his soulful singer Nakia. They choose Sex On Fire and he was definitely on fire. Okay, we’ve been saying this about everyone  but it’s true! There’s something odd about Nakia, but it works. He had some funky fire twirlers on stage we could have done with out, but other than that his performance level was hot. He is powerful! Jeff Jenkins went next for Team Adam with Jesus Take The Wheel and if we heard correctly there was tiny flub at the beginning but then he picked up by the chorus. Adam Levine was totally into him and swaying his head like nobody’s business. There was still something off about him compared to what we’ve seen in the past.Team Adam came next with their group performance of With a Little Help from My Friends. We just have to say it. Team Adam was by far the best group effort between last week and this week. Maybe he really can win this thing.
