Priyanka is not to replacing Aishwarya in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. Priyanka Chopra has cleared the air about her intrest in replacing Aishwarya Rai in the movie Heroine. There was a rumor going around in Bollywood that stated that Priyanka Chopra is keen on taking up the role of Aishwarya Rai in the movie Heroine.  Madhur Bhandarkar is a National Award winning Indian film director, script writer, and producer. He is best known for his films such as Chandni Bar (2001), Page 3 (2005), Traffic Signal (2007), and Fashion (2008). He won the National Award for Best Director for Traffic Signal. The shooting of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine has been put off because of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy, but Priyanka Chopra has denied that she wants to replace Bachchan, who plays the lead role in the film.

producers told that this point, nothing is more important than Aishwarya's well being and good health and he has all agreed that the best step would be to avoid shooting further, rather than proceeding with an incredibly demanding schedule over the coming months. Meanwhile, Chopra has rubbished reports that she might replace Bachchan in Heroine. Priyanka said this she has put to rest the so called interest she had in replacing Aishwarya Rain in the movie Heroine. It is also rumored in Bollywood that Aishwarya Rai has been sacked from Heroine for getting pregnant and is considering legal action against the director. There was also recent gossip about Preity Zinta replacing Aishwarya Rai in the movie Ladies and Gentleman starring Abhishek Bachchan.
Read some stupid article about how i wanna do Madhur Bhandarkar's film HEROINE,Priyanka tweeted that she might think Madhur is an amazing director and. It'll be amazing to work together again but GUYS this one aint it, I wish him and Aishwarya lots of luck with the film and also said that she also wish that journos would actually do some journalism rather than scriptwriting and stop deciding my next moves. The project, also starring Arjun Rampal, was announced during the Cannes Film Festival this year. We will have to wait and watch what is the fate of the movie Heroine with the controversy surrounding it.

Lindsay Lohan was freed from house arrest Wednesday morning, ending a drama filled 35 days and opening the next chapter in the troubled starlet's efforts to put her court troubles behind her. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Lohan's electronic monitoring equipment was removed shortly before 10am and she was removed from the jail system around 10:20am. Lohan is not entirely free. She still has to complete 480 hours of community service, complete an anti shoplifting class and comply with other terms of her release.

Morgue :- Her spokesman, Steve Honig, said Lohan is very focused on resuming her community service, which is being performed at a downtown Los Angeles women's shelter and will also require her to work at the county's morgue. Lohan, 24, was sentenced to four months in jail in May for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving case by taking a necklace from a jewelry store without permission earlier this year. She pleaded no contest to the theft and received no additional penalties, but will remain on probation for several more months. Lohan's shorter confinement was the result of jail overcrowding in Los Angeles' only women's jail and mandatory credits, but it was not without drama.

Out of the area:- Just days into her captivity, authorities were summoned to Lohan's home in the beachside community of Venice because her monitoring equipment reported her out of the area. The equipment had to be replaced because of a faulty battery in the actress' ankle monitor, and after officials learned that a houseguest had spilled a drink another piece of monitoring equipment. Lohan was summoned to court last week after probation officials told a judge the actress had tested positive for alcohol. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner determined after reviewing Lohan's case file that the actress was no longer required to undergo random drug tests and that she had not been ordered by a previous judge to abstain from alcohol. Sautner did order the actress to stop hosting parties while serving house, telling her at one point, Don't give people a reason to hate you. Lohan has struggled to put a pair of 2007 drunken driving and drug arrests behind her. She was jailed twice and sent to rehab twice last year for failing to comply with the terms of her probation.

Theft:- She was accused of the necklace theft roughly three weeks after her release from rehab. She has said she wants to resume acting and remains a cast member of a biopic of the infamous New York Gotti crime family titled, Gotti In The Shadow of My Father. Shooting on the film is expected to begin later this year.

Also, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, having written the last two films, did not return for this installment in the series, which Orci had earlier somewhat anticipated, fearing the duo would risk getting stale. Bay has stated this would be his last installment in the series. In May 2011 it was announced that Paramount Pictures had bumped Transformers:Dark of the Moon's release date of July 1, 2011 two days earlier, June 29, in order to receive an early response to footage. Diana, Princess of Wales was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. Their sons, Princes William and Henry (Harry), are second and third in line to the thrones of the United Kingdom and fifteen other Commonwealth Realms. A public figure from the announcement of her engagement to Prince Charles. See Related Photos Princess Diana would have been 50 this July 1 if she hadn't been killed in that car accident in Paris in 1997. Princess Diana appears on the cover of Newsweek, digitally aged and Photoshopped next to her would be daughter in law Kate Middleton, which has caused some controversy. The deceased princess would have celebrated her 50th birthday on Friday and the magazine's "Diana at 50" cover story imagines what the princess would be like, if she hadn't died in a tragic car accident in 1997.

The article's introductory paragraph sums up the story, Diana at 50 Chilling with the Middletons. Tweeting from Davos. And still the people's princess. If not for that tragic night, what her life might look like now. In the article, Brown wrote that Diana probably would have moved to New York, gotten Botox and would be writing about her daily life to some 10 million Twitter . The cover of this week's issue boasts a computer generated image of an imagined 50 year old Diana superimposed into another photo to make it look as though she's strolling along with the daughter in law she never knew, Kate Middleton. The image is being called tacky, cheap, and creepy by outraged readers, Twitter followers and members of the press.

Brown has long been a provocateur, and she made a statement yesterday about the controversial cover and article, We wanted to bring the memory of Diana alive in a vivid image that transcends time and reflects my piece. While that is all well and good, the overwhelming response has been negative. This is completely offensive and inappropriate, one commenter wrote on the Newsweek website, expressing a common attitude toward the image And Twitter users have been even less kind. The Twitterverse exploded at the launch of the Newsweek cover, with angry posts pouring in from around the globe. Hashtags like proliferated, and one Twitter user commented, Vomit rises in the throat.

Tina Brown is no stranger to controversy, and her article was written from the perspective of one who had studied Diana, and knew her well. But the digitally altered image of Diana, mixed with the speculative tone of what Diana would have been doing had she not tragically died, does not sit well at all with readers. While it may be interesting to travel down the ,what if, path, the fact of the matter remains: Diana died in 1997 in a horrific car crash, during the prime of her life. Her two sons were robbed of their mother. And her death was a wrenching moment for the British and the world as a whole.

Diana was, of course, a celebrity, but many of the comments from readers show an empathy and compassion for Diana's family members who still miss her. One reader weighed in on Newsweek's website: "Ugh this is SO tasteless let the poor woman RIP if I were any of her family members i'd be so offended and upset by this. It is quite interesting that while the cover has stirred up such passionate feelings, most people are less appalled to read about what Diana might be like at 50. So what does Brown say about a 50 year old Diana? For starters, she would have been married a couple more times, settled down in her favorite city New York, and would have a Facebook page and 10 million Twitter followers. There is no doubt she would have kept her chin taut with strategic Botox shots and her bare arms buff from the gym,Brown writes. And, Brown believes, Diana also would have found peace with Prince Charles: "I believe her best male friend in later years would have been, poignantly, her reviled first husband.

And how would Diana have dealt with the publicity surrounding her son's marriage? Brown thinks it would have gone like this Diana, rejoicing in her flawless Spencer pedigree, would have positioned herself as a firm defender of the Middletons against the palace snobs and ostentatiously made Carole Middleton, Kate's dynamic mother, her new BFF."

Authorities in Myanmar have deported Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh who plans to play pro democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi in an upcoming film, an immigration official said on Tuesday.

Yeoh, a Malaysian known for playing Chinese spy Wai Lin alongside Pierce Brosnan in the 1997 James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies" among other high profile roles, was detained on arrival at Yangon's international airport on June 22 and sent out of the country on the next flight.

"She was deported on the same day because she is on a blacklist," the official told Reuters, requesting anonymity because she was not authorised to talk to the media.

Yeoh, 48, has been in Thailand, Britain and France filming scenes for the film "The Lady", as Suu Kyi is known in Myanmar. The film is due to be released in October.

Suu Kyi, a Nobel laureate and figurehead of Myanmar's fight against military dictatorship, met Yeoh to discuss the film at her lakeside home in Yangon last December, three weeks after her release from a seven year stint of house arrest.

"The Lady" is a love story about Suu Kyi and her late British husband Michael Aris, and details their long separation while Suu Kyi was detained in 1989.

Aris was denied visas to visit Suu Kyi and was diagnosed with cancer in 1997. She refused to leave Myanmar to visit him, fearing the ruling junta would block her return. Aris died in 1999.

A dancer and actress known for performing her own stunts in action movies, Yeoh was nominated for a BAFTA award for best actress for her role in Ang Lee's 2000 box office hit "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" which won four Oscars.

A Padama Shri recipient India's highest civilian award Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai, India to a family of film directors. His father Tahir Hussain is a producer of Hindi movies. His younger brother Faisal Khan has tried his hand at acting, though without any success. Amir Khan began his acting career as a child actor in movies such as 'Yaadon Ki Baraat' in1973, and 'Madhosh' (1974). His first movie as an adult was the hard hitting and dark 'Holi' (1984) directed by well known director Ketan Mehta. Mehta was to direct Khan again in 'Mangal Pandey - The Rising' (2005).

But the year of reckoning for Khan has to be 1988, when he acted as the leading man for the first time in 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. Khan's performance in this movie not only earned him rave reviews and colossal female fan following in India, but also established him as a 'young heart throb'. Early 90's saw many of his movies receive mixed reactions at the box office. However, his most successful films after Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak include 'Dil' (1990), 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' (1992), 'Rangeela' (1995) and 'Raja Hindustani' (1996). Khan has also acted in many critically acclaimed movies such as 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke' (1993), for which he wrote the screenplay as well, 'Ghulam' (1998) that was a huge commercial hit, as 'Ice Candy Man' in Deepa Mehta's offbeat movie 'Earth-1947' (1998) and in the quintessential cop drama 'Sarfarosh' (1999).

2001 was again a year of reckoning and hyperactive activity and global acclaim for Khan. Two of his best films  'Lagaan' that was also nominated for the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film besides other numerous awards, and 'Dil Chahta Hai' a story about three friends in Urban India were resounding successes. Khan proved that if he could act the role of a poor farmer to perfection, he could also perfect the act of a super cool dude! And for three years Khan did not act in any movies. He came back with a bang in 2005 with 'Mangal Pandey: The Rising' that was declared the biggest flop of the year, and in 2006 he acted in 'Rang De Basanti' a movie that takes a look at patriotism and corruption in Urban and growing India. The movie was the biggest hit of the year and was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars though it failed to make the final five. But, it was short listed for the BAFTAs. His other film 'Fanaa' (2006) where he plays the role of a terrorist is also one of the highest grossing movies of the year.

American ROCK actor Tracy Morgan has come under fire yet again for remarks he made during a comedy show this time, for poking fun at the mentally disabled.“Don’t ever mess with women who have retarded kids,” Morgan told the audience during his performance at a Times Square comedy club in New York City on Saturday.Though the audience groaned, Morgan reportedly continued on with the touchy topic, and concluded with a bit about a girl he allegedly dated during his teen years whom he described as “a cripple.”The show marked the 42-year-old “Saturday Night Live” alum’s first comedy performance since he faced massive criticism for homophobic comments he made during a standup show earlier this month.

Morgan recently issued an apology after unleashing a slew of anti-gay remarks during a comedy show in Nashville on June 3.I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others,” the “30 Rock” star said in a statement to Access on June 10.While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.Morgan’s comments made headlines after Kevin Rogers, who was in attendance at the June 3 show,“Why I No Longer ‘Like’ Tracy Morgan .who called himself a longtime fan of the actor,Morgan’s rant included the comedian saying he did not believe women could be lesbians and said if his son ever told him he was gay that he would stab him.

Thomas Jeffrey "Tom" Hanks Born in California, Tom Hanks grew up in what he calls a "fractured" family. His parents were pioneers in the development of marriage dissolution law in that state, and Tom moved around a lot, living with a succession of step families. No problems, no abuse, no alcoholism just a confused childhood. He had no acting experience in college and, in fact, credits the fact that he couldn't get cast in a college play with actually starting his career. He went downtown, auditioned for a community theater play, was invited by the director of that play to go to Cleveland, and there his acting career started. He met his second wife, actress Rita Wilson on the set of his television show Bosom Buddies. Tom Hanks is an American actor, producer, writer, and director. Hanks worked in television and family friendly comedies, gaining wide notice in 1988's Big, before achieving success as a dramatic actor in several notable roles, including Andrew Beckett in Philadelphia, the title role in Forrest Gump, Commander James A. Lovell in Apollo 13, Captain John H. Miller in Saving Private Ryan, Joe Fox in You've Got Mail, Chuck Noland in Cast Away, and voicing the character Woody in the Toy Story series.

Tom Hanks has always enjoyed a challenge. After all, his break out role came playing a woman in TV's Bosom Buddies. He co starred with a volleyball in Cast Away and played a gay man with AIDS in Philadelphia at a time (1993) when playing gay in Hollywood was thought to be a career killer. So, perhaps it should come as no surprise that the Hollywood star is bringing out his newest movie, Larry Crowne about a man who loses his job due to the recession, at a time when so many people are out of work. To heighten the risk, Hanks not only stars in the movie, he directed it and co wrote the screenplay with "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" writer Nia Vardalos. Making "Larry Crowne" a box office hit will be a challenge to say the least, especially during the summer when movie theaters are filled with big budget, effects filled films like Transformers: Dark of the Moon. But Hanks feels that he and his movie, which co stars Julia Roberts, are up to the challenge, and he thinks "Larry Crowne" has one key secret for its potential success. It's not about loss, so much as about hope for the future. He said that he was competing in a marketplace in which the thing he might have going for them is the true battle against cynicism. Hanks plays the title character who is fired from a Walmart like store where he's worked for decades. Divorced, with a mortgage and a gas guzzling SUV, he enrolls in college to start over, taking classes taught by a teacher,Julia Roberts with her own problems. He sells his house, rides a scooter to save money and works at a diner to make ends meet. Yet rather than being depressed about things, he's got this amazing new forceful presence in his life and he can honestly say.
But to people in the real world struggling with unemployment, a film like "Larry Crowne" may not be the type of escapism they want to see even with its lighter tones and characters played by comedian Cedric the Entertainer and former "That 70s Show" sitcom star Wilmer Valderrama. Last year, writer/director John Wells released a feature film he wrote and directed, "The Company Men," about how three men deal with joblessness, how it affects their families and their status in the community. "Company Men" starred Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones and Kevin Costner and had an estimated, low budget of $15 million. Still, it grossed only $4.4 million in U.S. ticket sales hardly a hit. To be fair, it was a rather dark drama. Vardalos said that despite the subject matter, "Larry Crowne" is not a "downer" movie. She told that This was an uplifting movie and it's not out of the realm of the ordinary and also said It's what can happen if you keep your heart open. And Hanks is quick to point out that very often when people step out of one life situation and into another, they find the change can be very life affirming. Hanks said that That actually  happened in the real world and it's also a glamorous. There can be little argument that when Hanks spies a challenge, he responds pretty well himself. After all, that gay role in "Philadelphia" the one that could've been a career killer earned him an Oscar. And it wasn't his last.

Prince William's bride Kate Middleton is a distant relative of novelist Jane Austen, according to genealogy website Ancestry.com. Ancestry.com said that the new Duchess of Cambridge and the author of "Pride and Prejudice" are 11th cousins, six times removed due to their 15th century common ancestor Henry Percy, who was the 2nd Earl of Northumberland. The family history research group said the connection was fitting given Austen's many female characters who fall in love with, or aspire to marry, men of higher rank. Middleton, 29, a commoner with no aristocratic background, married Prince William second in line to the throne in April after a nine year romance. She is now formally known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

"Finding this connection between the Duchess of Cambridge and Jane Austen is very exciting since, in many ways, Catherine is the modern Jane Austen heroine: a middle class girl marrying the future King of England," said Anastasia Harman, lead family historian for Ancestry.com. "Jane Austen may have written about happily ever after but it seems Catherine has found a nonfiction hero to spend her life with far past the epilogue," Harman added. Born in England in 1775, Jane Austen is one of the best known novelists and social satirists in the world with works like "Sense and Sensibility", "Emma" and "Persuasion." She never married.

Indian Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on Monday remembered the late R.D. Burman on his 72nd birth anniversary, recalling the first time she met the composer and the many "amazing songs" they recorded together.I remember the day when a 13-14 year old boy came to me asking for my autograph, it was R.D. Burman. His father S.D. Burman introduced me to him and said he was learning sarod. This was the first time I met R.D. Burman. After that I was approached to record a song for a film Chhote Nawab and I was surprised when I came to know that he (R.D. Burman) was composing the music for the film. When I heard the song I was delighted by his composition. And then we went on to record some amazing songs together."The two delivered hits songs like Bahon mein chale aao, Tune o rangeele, and Tere bina jiya jaye naa."I have sung some wonderful songs with him. He was truly a great musician and he will always be in our hearts," she added.

A blurry trailer for the latest Mission Impossible film, Ghost Protocol, much of which was filmed in Dubai, has made it to YouTube. Dubbed in French, the trailer, which seems to have been filmed from a screening room, shows lead actor Tom Cruise scaling the Burj Khalifa, running from a burning building which looks to be the DIFC and jumping off a speeding car in Satwa. TheFilmStage website says the trailer was planned to be shown for the first time in front of US audiences at screenings of Transformers Dark of the Moon. The storyline appears to begin with the Kremlin being blown up, and Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt being briefed on a mission obviously not disclosed in the trailer by British actor Tom Wilkinson, whose involvement in the film until now had not been revealed. The usual deadpan comedy lines are thrown in for good measure. In one scene Cruise is handed a gadget by Simon Pegg, who explains they are testing a glove that can help Cruise climb buildings. It has different colours on the fingertips.
Burj Khalifa
Mission Impossible newbie Jeremy Renner’s line concludes the 2min 21second trailer. “You’re not gonna make it,” to which Tom replies “You’re not helping,” before he launches from the side of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The team filmed at Dubai Creek, the Burj Khalifa, DIFC, Emirates Towers, in the streets of Satwa and on a mock up of the Burj Khalifa at the International Media Production Zone.

Dust storm
In Satwa men in goggles, ski masks, bandanas and neck scarves attempted to keep sand from their eyes as giant fans whipped up a dust storm for Cruise to shoot a scene from the roof of a BMW. This scene appears in the trailer as the car flies up into the air and comes crashing down just narrowly missing his head. While in town, Cruise also paid non working visits to Dubai’s indoor ski slope, Ski Dubai, and was hosted by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who showed the Hollywood actor how to hold a falcon. Filming at Dubai International Financial Centre had the entire business district closed for two days while explosion scenes were shot. Cruise was captured in action racing through the main ‘Gate’ building of the complex as the debris closely followed by a lucky few fans. But Cruise drew the biggest crowds when he hung from the Burj Khalifa. Lucky visitors to the viewing gallery of the world’s tallest tower took snaps and video as the actor, famous for doing his own stunts, ran suspended around the circumference of the building, which reaches over 800 metres into the sky. The film is scheduled for release in December and is expected to feature at the Dubai International Film Festival that month.
