Actress, singer, and entrepreneur Selena Gomez, who is now focusing on a music career, has launched her new album, When The Sun Goes Down, and says that in the long run she will take acting as a full fledged career. It's been two and a half to three years that I have been acting and singing. However, I feel most likely in terms of a longer career span, it would be acting, Gomez said. She began her acting career at the age of seven, with I Barney & Friends and recently featured in movies like Ramona and Beezus and Monte Carlo.

Best known for portraying Alex Russo in the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place, Gomez is the lead singer and founder of the pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene, which has released Kiss & Tell and A Year Without Rain. Quizzed about her much publicised relationship with teen pop icon Justin Bieber, Gomez told that she would say it's nice to have someone who knows what you're going through.

Selena Marie Gomez is an American actress, singer, and entrepreneur, best known for portraying Alex Russo in the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place. Her career has expanded into the music industry; Gomez is the lead singer and founder of the pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene, which has released two RIAA Gold certified studio albums, Kiss & Tell and A Year Without Rain and spawned two RIAA Platinum certified singles, Naturally and Who Says.

Selena Gomez gets lots of interesting gifts from her fans, but the ones that stand out the most are scrapbooks. It's not known if the actress, singer and girlfriend of Justin Bieber actually likes to create her own scrapbooks, but she certainly does love receiving them. The Monte Carlo star explained during an interview in London on Thursday how the scrapbooks are her favorites. I got a bunch of scrapbooks. There were tons. Fans from around the world will send stuff in and then other fans will put it in a book. I love those.

Wouldn't you love to see the kinds of things that fans put inside the scrapbooks they create for Selena Gomez? Maybe they include pictures from her concerts or chance meetings with her. Could it be that fans theme their scrapbooks on things Gomez is into by maybe including photos of Justin Bieber, too?

It's hard to tell what comprises the scrapbooks that has Gomez so enthused. It's certainly a wonderful gesture on behalf of her fans for them to put the time and effort into making her scrapbooks. Scrapbooks are very detailed projects that can be tedious and creative at the same time. They typically aren't put together quickly and require a number of special embellishments in order to make them really nice. It says something about the character of Selena Gomez that she truly appreciates these gifts from fans.

When someone puts a bit of themself into something they've created, it's always nice to know that it means something to the recipient.

“I find it funny that people now come up to me and say, ‘Wow, you are absolutely gorgeous. I’m like, ‘I was beautiful before I lost weight. Egotistically speaking, I thought I was amazing.’”
All of this brings me to my question of the day for you guys. Do you think that if one opted to have weight loss surgery as opposed to regular diet and exercise that they’re taking the “easy” way out? Why or why not? I once overheard someone say that they “didn’t care” about gaining weight because they knew that they could be approved for weight loss surgery and drop the weight fairly quickly. I couldn’t do a thing but shake my head. When talk show host Wendy Williams asked Symone for her figure slimming secret, the former That’s So Raven star replied “less stress.”
“I stopped stressing. You have to realize at 15, there was a whole entire show I had on my shoulders. It was a very big cast and crew and if you’re sick for a day, people lose money and that’s a problem,” she said at the time.
“It wasn't just over eating because I’ve actually been eating the same. I keep a little bit more smaller portions because I learned that your body has to get rid of that stress some way. Some people break out, some people lose their hair, some lose weight, some people gain weight, my body just reacted a certain kind of way.” So now that Symone has lost a reported 35 pounds.

Jennifer Lopez's future as a judge on "American Idol" looked uncertain Thursday as the singer refused to confirm whether she would sign up for the 10th season of the show.
