Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan celebrated their 39th marriage anniversary yesterday.The couple have two children-  son Abhishek and daughter Shweta.“39 years! Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actress Sridevi will be sharing screen space with each other after almost 19 years for their upcoming film English Vinglish.

The film, being touted as Sridevi's Bollywood comeback, will see her essay the role of a housewife who joins a spoken English course to impress her husband and family.

The two were last paired in the 1992 hit film Khuda Gawah. Earlier, they were seen together in films like Inquilaab and Akhree Rasta.

Sridevi was last seen in a full-fledged role in the 1997 film Judaai with Anil Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar.

The senior Bachchan, who will be seen making a special appearance in the film, tweeted that the actress is still spontaneous and lovely.

After lending his face to promote a number of social causes, it was time for superstar Aamir Khan to do the same with cash. And he did it in his own inimitable style.

Aamir, who was a guest on the Bengali version of popular TV game show ''Who Wants to be a Millionaire'' won Rupees one crore on the show hosted by former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly and promptly donated the amount to a children's charity.

Khan, who appeared in the TV game show along his wife Kiran Rao, used his all life lines before reaching the final stage on ''Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipoti'' and gave correct answers after some friendly tiffs with Kiran. The couple said the entire amount would go to Saraswati Mandir Trust, a children's charity.

The star couple were the first to win the huge amount on the regional game show, with the highest prize money being Rs 25 lakh won by the last contestant. On being told that they were the first winners of the amount, Aamir and Kiran exclaimed, "Oh! Is it?" When Ganguly, 39, said Aamir's answers for the last two posers about the emblem within the Hyderabad Nizam''s first flag and India sharing the longest boundary with which neighboring country were bang on target, Kiran said "He is like this always, very clear in thoughts and precise with a keen interest in history and geography.

Conversations on the show, aired on the former Indian skipper's birthday, steered towards Aamir's latest film ''Delhi Belly''. Joking that it is time for item girls to pack up, Aamir, 46, said his ''I hate you, like I love you',' number in the film is a tribute to the disco era of the 1980s.

"The dance number is my tribute to that golden era of Bappida Lahiri and Mithunda Chakarvarty. This is to all those who belonged to that era  Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Jeetendra and Govinda.

"To a question by Ganguly, Aamir, however, said he would not want children watching the episode flocking to cineplexes to see 'Delhi Belly''' "as it is an adult comedy but very youthful and a lot irreverent.”
