The 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was as much about the performances as it was about Victoria's Secret's Angels showing off a new year's worth of lingerie. The annual fashion show, which was recorded earlier in the month but aired Tuesday night on CBS, offered its viewers a look at the sexy Victoria's Secret models strutting their stuff on the runway while also giving behind the scenes, Project Runway style looks at the prep for the show.

But the real highlights of the night came from performances by Kanye West, Jay Z, Maroon 5 and Nicki Minaj. Kanye opened the show with a rousing performance of "Stronger," and then later took to the stage with BFF Jay Z to perform songs from "Watch The Throne" while a very pregnant Beyonce looked on in approval from the audience. Maroon 5 later performed their hit "Moves Like Jagger," and then leading man Adam Levine walked the catwalk with his Angel girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna before the two of them shared an onstage, slow-motion kiss. Minaj closed the show with "Super Bass."

The fashion show featured the return of longtime Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, 28, who had to sit out last year's runway walk because she was pregnant (she gave birth to son Flynn Jan. 6). Hubby Orlando Bloom could be seen cheering for Kerr from the front row as she walked the catwalk in the Fantasy Treasure Bra, a diamond-and-gem-encrusted bustier worth $2.5 million!

Also dazzling the crowd was Adriana Lima, the most senior of all the Angels. (The 30-year-old Brazilian model and Maybelline spokeswoman has been an Angel since 2000.) Other models who donned wings for the show included Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Doutzen Kroes, Erin Heatherton, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Donaldson, while 19-year-old Karlie Kloss made her Angel-ic debut.

Of course, since the show is meant to showcase the upcoming line of Victoria's Secret products, it was split into several different themes. The first was superheroes, then ballet, passion, underwater, turn-of-the-century New Orleans and finally "Club Pink," a glamorized take on Victoria's Secret's casual Pink line. And all of it looked good to us!

Marisa Miller is an American model best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and her work for lingerie retailer Victoria's Secret.

She has graced the cover of Sports Illustrated and is currently a Victoria's Secret Angel, but believe it or not, supermodel Marisa Miller didn't realise she was beautiful until later in life.

The 33 year old stunner reveals that, because she was raised by hippie parents, she didn't even understand what it meant to have a 'good body.'

 

'There was this rumour going around that I had a 'good body', and I didn't even know what that meant! My parents were just like, 'Oh, it just means you're really healthy and you're strong!''

She more than makes up for her lack of beauty knowledge by appearing in girly, pink ensembles for her Ocean Drive photoshoot.

She looks like Barbie in one snap, wearing a pale pink top, black mini-skirt covered in lightning bolts and orange gingham shoes.

In another photograph, she pairs a soft orange shirt with a pleated pink skirt and stilettos.

While she looks stunning in her magazine spread, she explains to her interviewer, pro surfer pal Kelly Slater, that her parents weren't big on talking about superficial beauty because they were hippies.

'My parents definitely were hippies. They lived out of their truck the first six months they were married, and all they did was surf. So I definitely had those tendencies, because that was how I was raised.'

Although she grew up in the laid-back northern California town of Santa Cruz, she says that working as a model has made her appreciate city life.

'When I began working for Victoria's Secret, they were shooting a lot in Miami. I was there every week, and finally I just decided to stay because I didn't want to fly back and forth from California every week,' she says.

Given that she's a surfer as well, Miller found the beaches of Miami to be a nice alternative to her life at home.

'There are waves there not huge, but the water's warm,' she says. '[Miami] was a really fun place to be, especially at that time in my life. I was living it up. I had my skateboard, and I used to ride it over to Mynt Lounge, on Collins, and the DJ would put my skateboard behind the booth.'

Her relaxed nature has made the leap from modelling to acting an easy transition.

She has appeared on programmes like How I Met Your Mother and Entourage, and just shot her first film role: she co-stars with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in the action-comedy crime film, R.I.P.D.

In the film, about a recently slain cop who just a unit of undead police officers, Miller plays the human avatar of Bridges' character, Bo.

With his burgeoning military career taking up most of his time these days, 27 year old Prince Harry appears to be entering a new phase of maturity. But that doesn't mean to say that he's put his wild ways fully behind him.

Olympic skiing gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is officially back on the market.

The 27-year-old has filed for divorce from Thomas Vonn.

"This is an extremely difficult time in my personal life and I hope the media and my fans can respect my need for privacy on this matter," she said in a statement.

Thomas Vonn, a former Olympic skier himself, had been her chief adviser and scheduler. "I will continue to be coached by the U.S. ski team," Lindsey added.
 

 

Their relationship caused a rift between Lindsey and her father Alan Kildow, due in part to their nine year age difference. Kildow, who was replaced by Thomas as her coach and mentor, was not invited to the couple's 2007 wedding.

Lindsey is one of five women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing: Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, Slalom and Combined.

The Minnesotan won the gold medal in downhill at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Jennifer Nettles has made her Thanksgiving weekend this year even more eventful. On Saturday, November 26, the one half of country duo Sugarland quietly tied the knot with boyfriend of more than two years, Justin Miller, in an intimate sunset ceremony in Tennessee.

The wedding ceremony, which took place at a chapel in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, was attended by close family and friends. Among them was Jennifer's bandmate Kristian Bush. PEOPLE additionally mentioned that the 37 year old bride wore a dress from Alexander McQueen for the special day.

Former model Justin appeared in Sugarland's music video for their 2006 single "Want To". Revealing that Jennifer was his type of woman, he told Pennsylvania's The Meadville Tribune at the time that she is the type of person "you have crushes on growing up." On November 9, he accompanied the country singer to the CMA Awards.

Despite the weekend wedding, Jennifer and Justin have to put their honeymoon on hold for a little longer due to Sugarland's schedule. The country duo are set to perform at the "Grammy Nominations Concert Live!" on Wednesday, November 30, and will host the CMA Country Christmas Special on Thursday, December 1.
